I’m not ashamed to admit it, but my dog Dexter is my baby (or, fur baby). He is spoiled to the max and he deserves the best! He even gets organic coconut oil multiple times a week. We want our pets to live the healthiest, happiest lives possible, so today I want to talk specifically about the beds that our pets sleep on, and why it’s important to choose one that’s non-toxic!
To me, being healthy isn’t about deprivation. In the words of Michael Pollan, “Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants.” which is an easy general formula to follow. And I truly believe in the 80/20 rule: eat mostly organic, real, whole foods, but don’t deprive yourself of snacks and desserts! And what if I told you that there are actually healthier alternatives to some of your fave junk foods out there? Yup, you read that correctly. Here are some of my go-to swaps for classic “junk” foods!

There are a lot of brow products and mascaras on the market, but many of them contain parabens, dyes, artificial waxes, and not-so-good ingredients.
