Is it just me or does it feel like there’s a subscription service for basically anything you can imagine nowadays? Toilet paper, dog food, tampons…you name it. What a time to be alive 📦 But I’m certainly not complaining, especially when it comes to clean beauty and skincare. Curated subscription boxes are truly such a helpful way to discover new natural brands and products for just a fraction of the cost. So today I want to share the absolute best clean beauty boxes that are out there!

My Top Fave Clean Beauty Box:
Monthly • Cruelty-Free • $39.95-$55
I’ve been getting this box for years now! It’s monthly and features one brand and at least $90 worth of product (usually full sizes). Occasionally they’ll switch it up and do a theme with different brands. What I like about The Detox Box is that they sometimes include makeup, hair care, or personal hygiene products instead of just skincare. It’s nice to get a variety! 💄
Since The Detox Market is a larger clean beauty retailer, usually the brands included in the box are pretty well known. So this box is good if you’re looking to get your hands on some cult faves or classics (like RMS, Josh Rosebrook, Kjaer Weis, Innersense, or Odacité). I’m always extremely impressed with the curation and amount of product in each box.

Other Clean Beauty Subscription Boxes:
Monthly • Cruelty-Free • $15-$30
Petit Vour is the Crème de la Cruelty-Free™ and never uses animal ingredients 🐰 I’d recommend this one if vegan and cruelty-free is your main priority, and are less concerned about clean and organic ingredients. For the most part, everything is natural and up to a high standard of ingredient purity, but just not as much as the other boxes I mention here. They offer a mix of popular clean beauty brands and smaller indie brands.
What’s unique about this one is that it’s tailored to your specific preferences! You fill out a profile and select your skin tone, hair color, preferred lip colors, etc. and then every month you’ll receive 4 products with over a $50 total value curated to match your beauty profile. It’s super customized. If you’re someone who wants an assortment of smaller sample sizes, this would be a box to check out!
Petit Vour also offers a Plus Beauty Box which is essentially made up of fan favorites from past monthly beauty boxes and includes over $100 worth of products and larger sizes.

Monthly • Cruelty-Free • $39.95-$58.95
Each Beauty Heroes box is called a “Discovery” and is always valued at over $100. It contains one full-sized Hero and a deluxe Sidekick to go with it. This box is definitely a higher-end experience and has some of the best standards for ingredients.
The brands included are usually pretty similar to ones you’d find in The Detox Box! It has a rotation of skin, body care, sun, and hair care products (not makeup).

Bi-Monthly • Cruelty-Free • $49.95
Boxwalla is just a fun name to say! This is a bi-monthly subscription that features independent artisans (smaller, up-and-coming indie brands). It typically contains 2-3 full-size skincare products from the same brand, but sometimes includes a mix of brands or deluxe travel sizes.
The boxes have quirky and cute themes such as “The Three Textures of Winter” and “The Chronicles of a Plant Lab.” The idea is that each box is a standalone chapter and over the course of the year, you’ll have a complete book and all of the beauty products that you experienced will provide you with a comprehensive story that meets all of your skincare needs!
