They are unique because they contain grass-fed beef tallow; the texture is a bit thicker, which helps absorb sweat, and not very oily. They’re made with all-natural ingredients and nothing artificial. The Charcoal formula seems to be most guys’ go-to, but they also have unscented and other unisex choices, such as Bergamot Eucalyptus.

Humble is a runner-up contender! They use simple ingredients and essential oils, with tons of “manly” scents like Black Spruce, Texas Cedarwood, and Palo Santo. The price is super reasonable, too. It feels somewhat soft to the touch and swipes on easily.

Little Seed Farm Deodorant Cream (My Husband’s Fave!)
$14 • Baking soda-free • Unscented option
Little Seed Farm has been my hubby’s, aka Organically Jon, top pick. He has sensitive armpits, and this one keeps him smelling fresh, but without any irritation. You can get a bunch of scents, but the Activated Charcoal smells awesome; minty and herbal.
They’re a creamy consistency that’s packaged in glass jars with metal lids, and you can purchase a bamboo applicator if you prefer not to apply with your fingers.

Routine Cream Deodorant

Routine makes dozens of fun and unique scents, including some geared towards guys like Johnny’s Cash (cedarwood/pine/bergamot), Reuben & The Desert (palo santo/tobacco/vetiver), and Superstar (tonka/pepper/cardamom).
They’re really great at neutralizing odor and absorbing sweat, yet aren’t too oily or waxy. These are available as a cream in a glass jar, which you apply with your fingers, or as a twist-up paper stick, which you swipe on. I find that the jars last longer and are a better bang for your buck!

Dr. Squatch Deodorant (💰 Budget Drugstore Option)
$13 • Baking soda-free
Dr. Squatch is a more affordable drugstore brand. The only thing I don’t like is that they don’t disclose what’s in their fragrances, so we can’t really know if they’re totally safe. However, they claim it doesn’t use any synthetics, so use your judgment there if you’re comfortable using it yourself. But it seems to work well for many men, so it might be a good compromise.
Aside from the unknown fragrance, the ingredients in the sticks are clean! I would suggest skipping the spray or gel versions, though, since those ingredients aren’t as pure.
