Natural Product Review: Daily Dry Shampoo [Organic, Vegan, Cruelty Free]

Daily Dry Shampoo Review

I don’t know if you can relate, but I absolutely hate washing my hair! I try to only do it about once a week if I have to. This is why dry shampoo is a MUST in my hair routine. It helps me go days in between washes. So today I’m happy to review a brand of dry shampoo with you called Daily.

This post is sponsored by Daily Dry Shampoo and they kindly gifted me the product in exchange for my honest review! Thank you for reading my blog.

Why is it so important to use natural dry shampoo in the first place? Well, most conventional dry shampoos use butane, aerosols, parabens, and synthetic fragrances. No thank you! Not only are those harmful to breathe in, but they’re not great for the environment either.

Organic, Natural Daily Dry Shampoo

I’ve used a few other natural dry shampoos in the past, but what attracted me about this one is the deluxe vegan applicator brush that it comes with. A lot of people get hung up on natural dry shampoos because they are in powder form. Having a brush like this makes it SO easy to apply! 🖌 It really helps press the powder in and it makes less of a mess so you don’t spill powder all over yourself or your surroundings.

Update: Daily Dry Shampoo is no longer in business! To see other dry shampoos and hair products I recommend, check this post:

Daily makes one formula for all hair colors (they previously had Light and Dark formulas). It’s vegan, cruelty-free, and has clean ingredients that are food grade and non-GMO:

Maranta Arundinacea (Arrowroot Powder), Moroccan Lava Clay, Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Flour, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Essential Oil, Pelargonium Graveolens (Geranium) Essential Oil, Aniba Roseodora (Rosewood) Essential Oil, Canaga Odoata Var Genuina (Ylang Ylang II) Essential Oil

What’s nice is that the jar is big and a little goes a long way. And it’s a powder so you don’t have to worry about liquids going bad. Daily recently switched over to a glass jar, too! I really like that it has a really subtle grapefruit scent; nothing strong or overpowering.

How to Use the Dry Shampoo

I like to start using dry shampoo the day after I wash, even if it doesn’t look greasy. This will help absorb anything before it starts! 💁‍♀️

I tie my hair back first, then dab the brush into the powder and tap any excess powder off. Then I gently dab the powder along my hairline and scalp, wherever my hair normally gets greasy. It might make your hair look a little powdery at first, but it will absorb. I like to comb it through a little bit too which helps blend it in.

Dry shampoo pro tip!

It’s best to apply at night before you go to bed, so it can work its magic overnight and absorb while you sleep! Your hair will be fresh and voluminous the next morning 💆‍♀️

Daily Dry Shampoo

And honestly, this stuff WORKS. Even after sweaty barre classes or workouts, I can get away with only washing my hair about once a week. Which saves me lots of time in the shower too 🤣

So yes, I will definitely keep using this and I highly recommend it. The brush is a gamechanger in my opinion. You can use the code BECCA20 for a discount. Happy ‘poo-ing 😉 and let me know if you have any questions in the comments below!
