Who wants to hear about a new, organic skincare line! I’ve been using the Laguna Herbals brand for a while now, more specifically their non-toxic sunscreen products, but they recently released a lot of new skincare products! And I’m so thrilled to share with you how they perform and how I’ve been enjoying them.
First of all, these items were sent to me for free to review. But this blog post reflects my honest opinions about the products!
These are listed in the order that is recommended to use them, according to Laguna Herbals’ green beauty facial routine. All of these are available for purchase on Amazon Prime or the Laguna Herbals website.
Ingredients: French Green Clay, *Avena Sativa (Colloidal Oatmeal), *Apricot Kernel Meal (non-GMO) , *Lavandula X Intermedia (Lavandin) flowers, *Rosa Damascene (Rose) flowers, *Cocos Nucifera (Coconut flakes), Citrus Sinensis (Orange) essential oil. *certified organic
This one intrigued me the most! It’s a comprehensive all-in-one cleanser, exfoliant, and mask. You can either use it quickly to cleanse and exfoliate, or you can leave it on for a few minutes as a mask. I preferred the mask treatment!
Because of the oats, it was a little chunky as a mask, but that did not bother me. I did notice that after taking the mask off, my skin was pretty red where the mask was, however it didn’t sting or feel painful at all and the redness went away quickly. It’s just a powerful mask!
Ingredients: *Apple Cider Vinegar, Rosa Damascena (Rose) Hydrasol *Aloe Vera, *Melissa Officinalis (Lemon Balm), *Anthemis Nobilis (Chamomile), *Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary), *Calendula Officinalis (Calendula), *Rosa Centifolia (Rose), *Citrus X Limon (Lemon Peel), *Salvia Officinalis (Sage), *Symphytum Officinale (Comfrey), Lactobacillus Ferment, Lactobacillus, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Fruit Extract.
This toner is full of REALLY effective organic herbs! The first ingredient is the powerful Apply Cider Vinegar which provides probiotic benefits to balance skin pH, remove dead skin cells, lighten, remove excess oil, the list goes on. The rest of the ingredients help rejuvenate, tighten, tone, cleanse, and lighten skin.
I think because of the ACV, my skin was slightly red after using this toner as well. But again, it didn’t sting and the redness diminished quickly. And my face definitely did feel more firm and clean after using this.
I applied this by spraying onto an organic cotton pad and swiping gently on my face. I noticed it picked up a little bit of makeup that was still hanging on after cleansing.
Ingredients: *Argania Spinosa (Argan) Oil, *Vitis Vinifera (Grapeseed) Oil, *Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba Oil), *Anthemis Nobilis (Chamomile), *Rosa Centifolia (Rose), *Verbascum Sinuatum (Mullein), *Calendula Officinalis (Calendula), *Plantago Major (Plantain), *Symphytum Officinale (Comfrey), proprietary blend of essential oils, Sambucus Nigra (Elder) fruit extract, Non-GMO Vitamin E.
This oil is jam-packed with high-quality carrier oils infused with herbal extracts. These contain antioxidants to stimulate new cell growth, rejuvenate your skin, ward off bacteria, and help calm inflammation.
After using this oil, it left my skin feeling very well hydrated without looking too oily. I tried to use a little extra in places that need a little more help, like around my eyes and forehead (to reduce smile lines and wrinkles!). My skin definitely was a little more radiant!
Ingredients: *Helianthus annuus (Sunflower ) seed Oil, *Carathamus Tinctorius (Safflower) oil, *Vitis Vinifera (Grapeseed) Oil, *Cera Alba (Beeswax), *Anthemis Nobilis (Chamomile), *Rosa Centifolia (Rose), *Verbascum Sinuatum (Mullein), *Calendula Officinalis (Calendula), *Plantago Major (Plantain), *Symphytum Officinale (Comfrey), proprietary blend of essential oils, non-GMO Vitamin E, Sambucus Nigra (elder) fruit extract.
This eye balm is amazing! It’s crafted with ingredients that promote skin cell rejuvenation, reduce inflammation, and repair oxidative damage to the skin. It helps soften the look of fine lines and wrinkles and helps brighten the under eye area.
To be honest it was a little gooey so I would probably just use at night before bed instead of during the day. Or perhaps I just need to use less during the day.
I also used it a different time just to remove makeup and it worked great! It didn’t sting my eyes at all. And I definitely noticed a little less puffiness the next morning after sleeping with it on.
So overall, I really love this brand and the quality of their ingredients and how they perform. I also love that there are different variations of the products available for your skin type – oily, normal, dry, sensitive, etc. I definitely recommend them if you’re looking to switch to something cleaner!
