If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you might have noticed that I’ve been getting more interested in sustainable fashion lately! I think it’s so important as consumers to really dig deep and figure out what our clothes are made of and where they come from. So today I’m really happy to share a brand with you that has been a staple in my sustainable fashion wardrobe for quite some time! 👚
This post is sponsored by Pact who generously sent me some clothes in exchange for an honest review. This post also contains affiliate links. Thank you for reading and supporting my little blog!
Introducing…Pact! They are an organic cotton apparel company, most known for their soft, organic cotton basics. I first discovered them years ago when doing a search for “organic socks” online 🧦
Not only are their clothes super soft and comfortable, but they are a company that I can get behind. I’ll share a little bit more about their standards and then show you some of the pieces that I have!
About Pact Apparel:
- Based out of Boulder, CO
- Founded in 2009
- All of the cotton they source is 100% certified organic (which uses up to 95% less water than conventional cotton and doesn’t contain the harsh chemicals, bleaches, or dyes that conventional cotton uses)
- Their cotton is also Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified, which is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibers, including ecological and social criteria. It’s backed by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain and has very high standards.
- Most of their pieces are also Fair Trade Certified, which means better working conditions for the cotton farmers and they also earn a premium to invest into their communities (If the item doesn’t have the certification, it’s because isn’t applicable in certain countries that already have union and wage protection in place for workers. Regardless, Pact only works with facilities that are sweatshop-free and child-labor-free)

The Importance of Organic Clothing (Especially for Sportswear!)
If you’ve been following my blog, you’ll know that I’ve touched on the importance of sustainable fashion before. But when it comes to workout gear, I think it’s incredibly important to know about the materials you’re wearing. Especially because you’re sweating so much in the clothes and they are usually tight on your body.
In addition, a Greenpeace report found that major sportswear brands were found to have hazardous chemicals on their clothing, such as: phthalates, PFCs (like…Teflon! 🚫), dimethylformamide (DMF), nonylphenol ethoxylates (NPEs), nonylphenols (NPs), and triclosan. These usually give fabrics the “sweatproof” abilities or slick feel. Not worth it in my opinion!
The good thing about natural fabrics, on the other hand, is that they are naturally antimicrobial and antibacterial. They are also better at thermal regulation and much more breathable. And they are more eco-friendly and better for the environment. Natural fabrics are definitely the way to go!
What I’m Wearing:
Strappy-Back Sports Bra
Color: Waves
Size: Small
Okay don’t judge me, but my sports bras were all 10+ years old! So I definitely needed a new one. I love the cute, subtle pattern on this. It’s wireless and a pullover, with really cool cross back straps. It gives me a good amount of support while working out, and I love that it has removable pads which provide nice coverage too.
Paneled Legging
Color: Marrakesh Combo (Seasonal)
Size: Small
I am obsessed with these! For of all, how did I ever NOT have high rise workout pants?! They are so comfy and just feel like they hold everything in, ya know? These even have a little hidden envelope pocket in the front right area. These leggings are super breathable, not see-through, and have a good amount of stretch. I love the unique chevron paneling and pattern!
Cropped Pocket Legging
Color: Windswept (Seasonal)
Size: Small
This is not typically the pattern I would be drawn to or feel would look good on me, but I’m so glad I went for it! Like the paneled leggings, these are high rise, stretchy, and not see-through. The best part, they have two side pockets 🙌 The cropped length is really nice for warmer weather. In this photo, I am also wearing one of their Racerback Tank Tops in Charcoal Heather.
Featherweight Slouchy Sweatshirt
Color: Heather Grey
Size: Small
I basically live in slouchy sweatshirts, so I had to have this! It is SO incredibly soft too. It’s a loose fit, slouchy, with a wide neck. I like to wear it off the shoulder. Even though it’s a sweatshirt, it’s still pretty lightweight and breathable. It also has ribbons on the inside of the shoulders so you can easily hang it without it falling off the hanger.
Featherweight V-Neck Tee
Color: White
Size: Small
Who doesn’t need a plain white tee?! They are so simple, yet so classic and go with every outfit! This one is semi-fitted with a v-neck. It hits around my hip and has a straight hem. I really like that it’s lightweight and not a tight fit. Definitely going to be a staple in my wardrobe!

Sustainable Basics That Won’t Break the Bank!
So I’ve mostly shared workout gear with you today 🎽 But, Pact actually makes a TON of other clothing! I’ve bought socks, undies, bralettes, leggings, tank tops, and dresses from them too. They have all held up well and are really comfortable. And boxer briefs for my husband and little socks for my 2-year-old niece. They seriously have it all!
Pact also recently launched organic towels and bedding which I have yet to try, but they look great!
Overall, Pact is a really great brand that produces quality, organic clothing. And it won’t break the bank either! Whether you’re looking for basics, a cute dress, or some workout leggings, you’ll find it. Consider it #OrganicallyBeccaApproved! 👍
