Summer is HERE and the Cancer ♋️ in me is so happy (July is my birthday month)! We’re back for Volume 8️⃣ of the Well Rounded series. Each quarter I like to give you guys updates on new products I’ve been testing and grabbing repeatedly. Whether it’s sustainable fashion, wellness-related, clean beauty, or natural skincare. I aim to include a fun variety for the season, so let’s look at what’s been #OrganicallyBeccaApproved lately! ☀️
This post contains affiliate links. Some of these products were gifted to me for PR consideration with no obligation to share. Trust me, I only share the good stuff with ya!
Btw, if you missed the last Volume 7 from spring, you can check it out here!
1. Araza Coconut Cream SPF25 Foundation
I’ve been obsessed with this foundation and wearing it nonstop! Cream foundations tend to be cakey or dry, but that’s not the case with this one at all. It has buildable, light to medium coverage that feels comfortable and breathable on my skin. It has a creamy, smooth texture and applies so beautifully and seamlessly. The finish is slightly dewy and radiant, but not too oily or shiny; it looks very natural like a fresh, healthy glow!
Araza uses super clean, organic ingredients in its formulas. Bonus: this has SPF25 from non-nano zinc oxide and can also block blue light pollution!
I used their Foundation Shade Finder tool which was helpful and led me to pick shade 180 (light with cool pink undertones; it turned out the be a perfect match!). But you can buy sample sizes too.

2. Honua Malu SPF30 Protecting Day Cream
Honua is a Hawaiian brand that I actually saw in stores when I visited the big island a few months ago. My friends at Poppy Avenue Clean Beauty Bar carry their products and graciously sent me this sunscreen to try. It’s amazing!
I find that a lot of SPF/moisturizer combos are not always that moisturizing on their own, but this one is! It literally just feels like a lightweight lotion and blends in SO well without leaving a white cast, but has SPF from non-nano zinc oxide. Not too thick or greasy, either. As you may know, Hawaii has a ban on chemical sunscreen ingredients so they’re only allowed to sell reef-safe mineral sunscreens such as this one.
My favorite part is the SMELL 🌺 It transports you to Hawaiian paradise with notes of jasmine, noni fruit, and orange. Super impressed with this day cream!

3. Huella 10-Free Nail Polish
Admittedly, I’m not a huge nail girl, but I do paint my toes in the spring and summer months! Truth be told, there really is no such thing as 100% non-toxic nail polish because you essentially need something that is paint. But what you can look for is 10-free nail polish that is made without the main offenders such as toluene, phthalates, formaldehyde, camphor, TPHP, parabens, or benzophenone.
Huella is 10-free, made in the USA, and vegan. They have tons of colors to choose from, including shimmery metallic shades or clear coats. I’ve been loving the All The Sage color for summer which is a pastel light sage. So pretty! 💅 It holds up well and is quite chip resistant too.
They also make a soy-based nail polish remover that’s free of alcohol and acetone!

4. Just Ingredients Protein Powders
I have been trying to up my protein intake and these are an easy way to sneak more in (22-24g per serving)! But more importantly, they are DELICIOUS! You can get plain or vanilla, but they’re also available in tons of tasty flavors such as Chocolate, Snickerdoodle, Neapolitan, Salted Caramel, or Mint! I have been mixing the powder in yogurt, smoothies, baked goods, or just on its own in milk.
I’m also veryyyy picky about protein powders because most on the market have a lot of crappy ingredients (such as artificial flavors/sweeteners, dyes, gums, or excess sugar). But these are awesome: grass-fed, organic, tested for heavy metals, and squeaky clean ingredients. I also appreciate that they have grass-fed collagen mixed in!
Just Ingredients uses 4-5 different protein sources in these powders, and less whey than most other brands, so they’re a bit gentler on the tummy as well!
Not sure what flavor to get? Try this sample pack!

5. Kinfield Golden Hour™ Mosquito Repellent
The only downside about summer…the bugs 🦟 This bug spray is DEET-free and made with essential oils citronella, lemongrass, and clove. In fact, it contains a higher amount of citronella compared to most natural bug sprays (which has been shown to be an effective repellent). This one has a whopping 10%! So I do feel like it’s pretty powerful stuff.
Not only that, but Kinfield uses a unique strain of Indonesian citronella which they put through independent testing and is supposed to be more effective than others. I’ve been using it on hikes in the woods and it definitely works well to keep me from getting eaten alive by mosquitoes.
Lastly, the formula doesn’t use any oils or anything greasy (the base is alcohol), so it rubs in nicely without leaving a residue or being sticky 👍

6. Numi Sweat-Proof Undershirt
Targeted shopping ads got the best of me here 😅 Wisconsin summers can be really sticky hot and humid, so armpit sweat marks happen! These undershirts have absorbent underarm shields to keep you cool and dry. Basically, when you wear them underneath other shirts, no more pit stains!
They are responsibly made from cotton and moisture-wicking Tencel. I have The Signature Undershirt and The Lace Undershirt which are short-sleeved but they offer other options and styles. They’re soft, stretchy, thin, breathable, wear well underneath other shirts, and definitely stop excess sweat from ruining your clothes. I like wearing mine under nicer blouses or clothes that tend to show sweat marks easily. Love!

7. One Love Organics Botanical A Bio-Retinol Night Serum
I am very much in a stage of trying to be proactive about aging and wrinkle prevention! There are a lot of plant-based retinol alternatives on the market, and this is one that I wanted to try for the longest time! It uses cockspur leaf which is naturally rich in isoflavones and bioflavonoids and is supposed to offer comparable clarifying and youth-boosting outcomes to retinol while supporting the skin microbiome.
This serum is lovely! It feels incredibly lightweight and wears well underneath moisturizers and other skincare products. It has a gelly, viscous texture that absorbs quickly. It’s packed with three acids: lactic acid, phytic acid, and plant-derived salicylic acid. So in addition to the anti-aging properties, you also get a gentle exfoliation.
You’re supposed to start slower with this one (alternate nights) and work your way up to 3-4x a week, which is what I did. I have surely noticed smoother, firmer, clarified, and more toned skin since incorporating this! I’m also thankful that it’s non-irritating and has not caused me any sensitivity. Good stuff!

8. Wabi-Sabi Botanicals First Light Illuminative Cleanser
Wabi-Sabi is one of my fave skincare lines! They make products that are especially suitable for acne-prone or sensitive skin and don’t use any fragrances or essential oils. This is their newest cleanser and it’s sooooo nice! ✨
I have been using it as a morning cleanser. It’s a cream that you apply to damp skin and it becomes slick. I’m usually apprehensive of cream cleansers because ones I have used in the past have left a residue. This rinses clean and leaves no residue behind, woohoo!
It’s not one I’d recommend for removing heavy makeup, but it’s gentle and perfect for morning use. The cleanser also has polyhydroxy acid (PHA) in it so you get a little brightening action. My skin is so soft and radiant after using it. The best part is the intoxicating tropical mango smell! 🥭 10/10.
