Once I started learning more about the chemicals in makeup, food, and skincare, it slowly led me to ask myself “well, how are my clothes made?” Over the years I’ve become a lot more interested in supporting smaller brands that also have a bigger mission, too. I’m excited to take you on my sustainable living journey and share one of my favorite clothing brands, United by Blue.
I found United by Blue a few years ago after doing a quick internet search for “organic cotton clothing.” Once I saw their website my eyes were all 😍 because their clothes are soooo cute, outdoorsy, and just my style.
Sustainably-Made Durable Goods that Give Back
Not only that, but they are sustainable. They use materials such as recycled polyester from plastic bottles, organic cotton, hemp, and wool which is biodegradable 👕 They offer a wide range of clothing and goods from men’s, women’s, kids, outdoors, camping supplies, drinkware, and even stuff for dogs!
They are a certified B-Corp which means they meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. They even offer their employees paid time off for community service and over 75% of their office supplies are made from recycled content. (like…can I work there already?!)

And for every product sold, United by Blue removes one pound of trash from our world’s oceans and waterways 🌊 They host cleanups all over the United States that you can participate in, too! This is definitely a mission I can get behind.
After years of buying their products myself, as of September, I am now officially a United by Blue ambassador! 😎 Which basically made my entire year. This essentially just means I get to try more of their products and share them with you! Today I’m going to show some items I picked from their Fall collection. Let’s do it!
Rise + Grind Navy Crew Pullover
Rise and grind should be my new motto! Soft, lightweight, and layerable, this essential sweatshirt gets its cozy factor from a special blend of organic cotton and recycled polyester. I’m wearing size XS.
Limestone Standard Tee
I don’t know about you but I hate when t-shirts are really tight. This shirt is slouchy, relaxed, soft, and has a scooped neckline. And of course sustainably-made! A perfect neutral color to pair with any outfit. I’m wearing size XS.
Grey Offtrail Pant
It was a tough choice between these grey pants and the olive color they offer! These feel like a cross between everyday pants, hiking pants, and sweatpants! Featuring an easy-on elastic waist, a slim, jogger-inspired silhouette and a just-right mid rise. I’m wearing size XS, and the elastic waist is perfect! Made of 73% organic cotton, 15% recycled nylon, and 12% hemp.
Rise + Grind Blue Enamel Steel Mug
This handmade, hand-dipped enamel steel mug is HUGE and totally adorable. And it makes me want to make some french press coffee over a campfire ASAP.
Treeline Bandana
Okay, so I couldn’t resist something for my pup Dexter! This cute bandana is made from 100% organic cotton. Nuff said.
